I want to learn guitar, help me choose a starter

I'm sure there are some 2p2'ers out there who play guitar and can give me some advice. I'd like to start learning to play, but have no clue what to get. Since I'm just starting, I'm certainly not looking to spend 1k on guitar. I've got a couple links to some auctions below, let me know if you guys think any of these would be decent to learn on (want to play hard rock/metal songs if that matters). Also, if you have any suggestions that I haven't listed, let me know. Thx
