Default First trip to a casino for poker

I am making my first trip to Vegas in three weeks since I began playing poker online and am looking forward to my first "B&M" experience (that sounds odd...).

Are there any books to read about how to play live? I recently bought Read 'Em and Reap which seems to have alot of good information.

I am comfortable playing 200NL on line and will likely bring about $5k with me for gambling for the three day trip. Should I be thinking about playing 2/5NL live?

If I play in a tournament, is there any rules of thumb for how long they last? That should help me figure out how expensive a tournament to find.

Any other words of advice? For instance, common wisdom says to wait until it is your turn to act to look at your cards. That makes me nervous, I might rather look early when not all eyes are on me. Would it be a mistake for me to look early?

Thanks
