Blinds 3/5, $5-$200 spread limit live game. For those who don't play spread limit, it works much like pot/no-limit, but on any street you can bet between $5 and $200. You can raise a bet a maximum of $200 more.
Relevant chip stacks are: Hero: $1300 Villian: $1000 Preflop: villian limps UTG. several players limp. button raises to $20. Hero calls with 33 in the BB. Limpers call. Multi-way going to the flop. Flop($120): 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Check around to the button, who bets $25. Hero calls, villian calls. All other players fold. Turn ($195): 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, villian checks, button checks. River ($195): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero bets $100, villian raises to $300, button folds, hero reraises to $500, villian reraises to $700, hero reraises to $900, villian goes all-in for $1000, hero calls. What do you think? Conventional wisdom says go for broke with quads...but should I have slowed up here after he made it $700? Should I even bother to be concerned with 44, or should I keep repopping it and if he has the nuts that's fate? |
