I'm a newb at Omaha...am I doing anything right?

First of all hey. A bit of background about me: I've been playing online for about a year and a half, not as much as I would have liked because of school. I've played about half NL and half LHE as well as MTTs and SNGs thrown in the mix.
I've gotten into Omaha about 6 days ago, since then I've played almost 8k hands. I'm breakeven, having won about 540$ at 0.25/0.5 in 6k hands, lost 500$ in 1200 hands at .5/1 and broke even over the rest of the hands at 0.10/0.25
Obviously I've got a lot to work on, and this is all very new for me, so I've taken a few of the big pots I have played and I would really appreciate any feedback or criticism or pats on the back(yeah right) anyone can give me. Some of the hands may seem wild preflop or wild on the flop (the huge call with just 2 pair is a good candidate), those were from my first hands where I was kind of an idiot...maybe I still am.
