Re: Own the software, not the site.
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Don't be so fast to bend down to the government when they are clearly wrong. There are an estimated 4 to 6 million of us. We have a voice -- we can actually impact elections... Speak up! [/ QUOTE ] That won't ever happen. For the most part, Americans are too comfortable in their lives to shake anything up. They just don't have the time, or they'd rather be working hard to get more toys, or playing with the toys they already have. Our forefathers would be ashamed at how complacent we have become. [/ QUOTE ] Sounds like our dads would include you in their disappointment. I actually do believe we have a voice and that we'll find it when online poker is censored. That of course is the only way to truly stop it -- block access to the IPs/sites entirely. When that happens -- privacy groups will join forces with those of us NOT to complacent to speak up -- so again -- SPEAK UP! Here's a better example: SC Rep is attempting to officially legalize home poker games -- article appeared just last week. If you think it won't pass -- guess again. People like to gamble. They like to drink and that's more dangerous. All that is needed -- representatives OF THE PEOPLE to speak FOR THE PEOPLE and guess what -- if you don't tell them what you want -- you won't get it -- SPEAK UP -- WRITE TO YOUR REPS -- Do it NOW!!! |
