Default Playing with chips

Hello All

I am hoping to make my debut in a casino soon. My poker experience so far has been playing online and at live home games with friends, all low stakes.
As I am usually playing with a few chips in my hand while I play online, I keep doing so live as well. I don't even realize I am doing it. Most of the times I am just doing the shuffle, i.e. merging two stacks of chips together.

Some of the home games I've played at have been on normal wooden kitchen tables, where the sound of chips hitting the table is quite distinct. There I've gotten complains about my shuffling, and so I stopped. The problem is that I start doing it again about 5 minutes later without even realizing it.

What reactions will I get from this at a casino, if any? Does this bother you?
