Home Game, FR, .25/.50 blind, AQ hits trips
Buy-in is $10, UTG+2 and I have built it up, he just took a hit for half his stack against what looked like an obvious bluff.
UTG $3.50 is a loose, weak player UTG + 2 ~ $50 is a TAG, thinking player who knows me well MP $9 is an unpredictable player willing to call anything Me ~ $50 All but one guy in front of me limps, I'm on the button, with AQo. I think about raising, but decide to vary and limp. SB completes, BB checks. Pot is $4. Flop comes up A-A-4, two clubs. Checks to UTG+2 who bets $10. MP calls all-in for $8.50 I call, thinking I'm way ahead here, but wanting to evaluate the turn. UTG calls all-in, rest of the table folds. UTG+2's range after a limper is going to be 22-TT, ATs+, AJo+, but I'm cutting out AK since he didn't raise, and probably AQ. I think he would have raised to isolate against weak short-stack. Outside shot of QJ of clubs. Pot is $33ish. Turn is K of clubs. We both check. River's 8 of spades. UTG+2 pushes. I put him on 44 or AJ based on his play. I'm heavily leaning towards AJ. I'm pretty sure he knows I've got AQ, because I hesitate before calling, and almost raised, I'm sure he noticed this. I'm a little worried about the flush, but not with the A and K on board. But, he has slow-played big slick pre-flop, then played it hard on the flop earlier in the night. Hero ???? |
