Re: Question: Money earnt by authors?
Mason,
The definition of hand-picked is "carefully selected". My impression of things is that Lee Jones's book had sold very well and that 2+2 took that as a sign that they should write a book on low stakes hold em as well. Obviously you had to meet Ed some way or the other. He was not already well known in the poker field so it would have been unlikely for you to have made the first contact. But it appears that the small stakes book concept was one that you and David wanted to write/publish about for some time as your long-standing argument about Lee Jones book quality would attest. You needed someone to be the primary author so you "hand-picked" or carefully selected Ed to do the project, correct? Because Ed's book on flop play never materialized. And for another gossip question I've read that Ed was introduced to his wife by a stripper. I was wondering given some of David's posts if a stripper that David knew was responsible for the introduction. |
