I think it'd be cool if everyone who has played a new game on the Wii could write up a short review so we could see which games are worth buying. I'll start.
Zelda: awesome, obv. Excite Truck: Actually a pretty fun game. Unlike most racing games where you try to cross the finish line first, the goal of Excite Truck is to destroy as much stuff before you get to the finish line. The controls work pretty well, the soundtrack is good, and you can perform some cool jumps and tricks. Not much replay value but good for at least a few hours of entertainment. Call of Duty 3 and Red Steel: I'm not a big fan of first person shooter games so I might be a little biased. I don't really care much for these games. The controls don't seem to work that well and personally I think games like this are probably much better on an Xbox 360. Rampage: Good for mindless, arcade-style fun. You can play the older NES/N64 Rampage games which is a big plus. |
