Default The best poker advice I ever heard.

Inspired by the thread I made in the "Finance & Investing" forum, I'm hoping this tread has the same amount of success.

Anyway, the lesson. A young poker player I played against at the Bellagio once said, "the thing most people don't get is you don't make plays at the person that has something, you do it once you think he has nothing."

Another one that is vital to my development as a poker player is "you don't have to win every pot."
