(OT) Internship & Drug Testing

Ok this probably belongs somewhere else but im not sure where so here it goes:

My mom works at the psychiatric center in my hometown. Im really interested in psychology (it's my major) and all that jazz, so naturally this would be a good learning experience for me. I've expressed interest to her many times about interning at the psych. center. She's got all the information for me ready to go. Theres one problem: A drug screening. To work/intern/be involved with the state you have to take a drug screening thing. If I didnt go through my mom to do this it wouldnt be a big deal to me. But now I see some options for myself:

I have to either come up with some excuse to not intern somewhere she knows im very interested in. (and ship it all break)

Fail the drug test and explain to her why I failed it.

Get one of those things that lets you pass a drug test. (anyone have any experience with these?)

After writing this I really kind of just want to chill over break and that's what ill probably end up telling her, as it is infact, the truth. Id still love to hear what my fellow STTF'ers would do in this situation.

ps: drugs for me = weed, adderall (drug?) and opium(3 times)
