Default Piling on

Why does it always seem that when something goes wrong, everything goes wrong?

I’ve got a brand new bike that dies on me 3-4 times a day, usually while I’m weaving in an out of traffic at 90mph. The mechanic doesn’t have a clue what the problem is.

This morning the zipper broke on my leather jacket that I wear when I ride my bike, and even in SoCal the wind at 90mph is pretty damn cold in the morning.

I brought a Coke to work with me, let it sit for 10 minutes or so cause it was in my backpack and probably shaken up a bit. Still sprayed all over my work when I opened it.

My wife’s glasses broke, and insurance won’t cover a new pair until April.

Worst of all, a light fell on one of my plants this morning, I fear it’s dead. It was such a pretty girl too 

And it's only 9am.

Edit: and this thread is for piling on me. I don't care about your story, unless it's especially funny.
