88 OTB
The game is a bit wild, with a terrible amount of loose cold calls and really bad call downs, bluffs, etc.
8/16 6-max. UTG(41/24/2.2) limps, UTG1(new to table, no read) raises, CO folds, I 3-bet 88 OTB(??), SB calls 2.5, BB calls 2, UTG calls, UTG1 calls. My main question is, in a loose game where I can just about count on one or both of the blinds coming whether I 3-bet or cold call, is 3-betting the best play? I felt like it was at the time, but I'm not sure. I know 88 played 5 ways is not a big favorite, but also getting my money in when ahead is a good idea, and capping when in position is a big advantage so the flop gets checked to me & can make a better play postflop depending how the flop comes. |
