Lots of picks I like this week, so this will probably be the week where it all comes apart.

$400 Bills +5

Here's the proof that although I'm posting late, I'm not pinching the lines. +6 is available as I type this.

This line is almost beyond comprehension for me I'm afraid. The Pats have struggled to a 4-1 season so far and are 1-1 against teams that might be considered half-decent. They previously beat the Bills by 2 at home, and there's no reason to believe they have got any better since that dirge.
On the other hand the Bills have sucked the life out of every game they've played, other than Chicago who are immune to everything apart from silver bullets and garlic.
It's all set up to be a truly unwatchable turgid affair and one of the sides is being given a five point start? Okay, count me in.

$300 Washington +9

I think the people on the Colts here have only been watching the results rather than the games.
It has to be admitted that Washington this year are really struggling, but other than the Giants game, which might not look so bad come the end of the season, they haven't really had a total beating yet.
The Colts on the other hand are 5-0 but they've only beaten Houston by more than 1 TD and they're not quite the scary monster that they were this time last year. 9 points seems a lot to give here.

$200 Packers/Dolphins u41

I have this theory about bad sides playing at home when they only have a few chances to win during the season. There are three of those this week and I don't like any of them.
I'm pretty sure that the theory applies, but two of the teams are the Dolphins and the Jets, and the books, in my opinion, have added points onto the spreads because they know that fanboys are going to back them anyway, and the other is the Raiders, and I still feel the Cards are underrated and I just want to leave that alone in terms of predicting the result after last week for the Cards.
For that reason I've decided to go with home advantage helping the Defenses so I've taken the unders on the three of them. Two on here, and one on my first half pick.

$100 Lions/Jets u41.5

See above.
