Help old man get his 30-inch Dell Monitor working...

Dell XPS 600 computer
NVIDIA GForce 6800 card
Windows XP 2002 Version

Hooked the 30" monitor up and the max resolution I can set it at is 600X800. Yum. Any suggestions?
