[ QUOTE ]
The idea that anyone at 18 is qualified to make a decision as important as to who they should partner and bear children with is laughable. Live a little doen't mean go bang whoowhas, it means gain some life experience so you can make your decision based on more than, "I'm 18 and a hot chick will [censored] me on the regular, wooohooo!!! this is the one for me lets get married!" [/ QUOTE ] Yeah because the heart of a 30 year old is sooooo much clearer and less jaded, what with all those years of bitterness and resentment to clear it up. People also definately never pick up layer after layer of baggage that will endlessly make them irrational and hateful. There are 18 year olds with substantially more wisdom then 45 year olds and there are 45 year olds with substantially less wisdom then most 18 year olds. Age isn't a fundamental factor, a persons character and philosophy on life is, granted experience gained over time can certainly help that. It's mindsets like those of the people that haggle Boosted for getting married that is a major part of the problem with marriage in this western society today. People don't have any Forbearance or Loyalty and just divorce the day they hit a little conflict. Life is not about lying in a cradle and eating honey, unfortunately it's a lot of suffering and sacrifice and good things are forged through that if a person can approach it with a right mindset. People should Enlighten to that instead of having such poor character and running with their tail between their legs the moment the seas churn. |
