Default Re: \"Official\" WSOP on ESPN thread (10/10) ($2500 SH and $2000 NL)

chipcounts before the hand:

Kevin Peterson $930,000
Vanessa Selbst $654,000
Mark Vos $651,000
Willard Chang $462,000
Thomas Hunt III $434,000
John Reiss Jr $381,000
Nam Le $313,000

hand:

Vanessa Selbst raises to $66,000 preflop and Williard Chang makes the call. Kevin Petersen reraises to $200,000 total and Selbst moves all in. Chang folds and Petersen makes the call, showing AA. Selbst is caught in a bluff with 52. The board comes A985A and gives Petersen quad aces. Selbst has been eliminated from the tournament.

so, it was 450k more to win ~450k.. little better than 2:1.

I agree bad play, but set of tens fold still was worse.
