Default Wong Kar Wai in a class of his own

I have not seen any JLG films to who he seems to be often compared too, but I cant think of another Asian(or Western) directer who tells a story the way he does. Tarantino said that Chungking Express made him want to cry because he loved it so much. That is the way I feel about all of his movies. He manages to get so much out of his actors. I love the unconventinal pacing of his films. I love the camera angles he takes. I love the colors. I love scenes where characters go off screen.

Any suggestions for similar directors?
