Default Help Editing for Effetiveness * Letter to my representatives

Please let me know your suggestions as I am writing letter s to my representatives. Thank you.

Dear Senator X:

I am writing to ask that one of your employees who writes letters to your constituents please write me an email or letter outlining your position on internet gambling.

I am a hard working, tax-paying, law abiding citizen. When I get home from work I enjoy logging on to play poker as I find it fun, intellectually stimulating, competitive and challenging.

It is now being communicated to me by the US government that the pursuit of happiness, intellectual stimulation, healthy competition and challenging yourself is immoral and illegal and I am not allowed to play poker from the comfort of my own home with my own money any longer.

Please respond with your position on why this is and if Maryland tax-payers and constituents should feel that their representative things they are immoral for playing poker online.

This will surely affect my vote in November as I feel my rights are being violated and the government is deciding whether or not a hobby of mine is moral or immoral.

I await your response.

Sincerely,
