Default Re: Flop texture experiment (discussionesque )

Ill do 88.

Good Flops:
8A7r : We have a great hand, and it is very possible that villain connected as well, with some sort of straight draw, or an A. Big potential here.

356r: We have an overpair, we will be able to tell pretty easily if we are beat.

Q53: One overcard, villain missed the majority of his hands and will fold to our cbet.

AKx: Though it is bad for our hand personally, this is a great flop in position, as we get to rep the big cards.

Bad flops:

QTx two tone: Tons of draws, some overcards, villain likely has something. We wont take it down very often with a c-bet, and will often be forced to fold the best hand to bluffs/semi-bluffs.

776 two tone: This kind of flop can get us into trouble trying to protect our hand, especially if we get to a turn blank.

Next hand: J9s

PS. Good thread.
