Default Party \"anywhere\" browser beta

The latest Party reload email (for those that got one) has this in it:

Play PartyPoker.com anywhere
We’ve worked hard to make sure PartyPoker.com is easily available to you on any computer. Now you can play from your internet browser so you don’t have to download and install the regular client – check out PartyPoker.com Anywhere Beta. Real Money cash games are already available and tournaments will follow soon.

There is a link to http://www.partypoker.com/anywhere/

Warning: I tried it with Firefox and it totally bogged me down. Also, I could no longer change tabs by clicking on them; I had to ctrl-tab to cycle through them. I finally just closed down Firefox and restarted.

It is java based software, and pretty much mimicks the way normal Party software looks (possibly at lower resolution). This includes the popup login window, and popup tables.

So does this make it even easier for people to run illegal software on? (If someone already posted about this, please ignore.)
