"Check Number" when depositing

I tried to deposit on 888 and somewhere else today, but to get the bonuses you can't use Neteller. To use an e-check, I need an actual check number. Unfortunately, I moved recently and do not know where my checkbook is. I know the routing # and account #, but I have no idea what my last written check number was.

I already called the bank's automated number but I have not written a real check in over 60 days. Will they give me the info on what the last check I wrote was if I go into the branch? Can I just make up a check number?
