Default Re: Tips for finding good games: The Art of Table selection?

Since I play AP full ring, I don't really have the luxury of table selection. This has also been to my benefit. I see the same players and I learn to play with what I am given.

Currently I put no real stock into table selection (when I move up or play 6-max that may change). I generally will stay at the same tables the whole night. I do move if I feel I'm being dominated (by a better player) routinely or have a bad feeling about the table. As much time as I have spent on 2+2 lately, I still say there is alot to be said about instinct and just feeling when it is time to move.

When I get better, I will probably start using BtSpiders method of actively searching for better tables, or even Wookies idea of baiting a new table. For now though, I want to concentrate on simply playing the game of poker by selecting "first available table" and not wasting my time with table selection.
