Default is the poker boom winding down, market nearing cap?

is it pausible that the boom has peaked or is about to reach an invisible poker market cap? with all the anti-gambling laws being introduced and the arrests of gaming execs being in the news, this could be the good old days of poker. maybe it's too early to tell... i'm only basing it on the WPT borgata open. last year there were 515 entries for a total pool of $4.99million, and this year's 545 entries for just over $5 mill prize pool. that's +30 more entries, which is low considering last year's expansion of their poker room. and also, the annual US poker championship at the TAJ, has cancelled the 10K event... it's too early but this might be the year that poker might stagnate.
