And I agree with you, although, as a fellow (veteran) soldier, I am a Proud American and do not approve of 9/11 jokes, but that is what they are...jokes. It's like going to a bar and being pissed that people are smoking. Well, if you don't like being around it, leave the bar. BTW, I don't smoke, I hate smoking, and I hate smelling it, but I'm not going to complain if I consciously make the decision to go into that bar and put myself into the situation.

Same idea, if you are going to subject yourself to reading the jokes, then you shouldn't complain, or make a big stink about it.

However, in light of it all, it was not that long ago and people are still devastated by the tragedy and so out of respect, we shouldn't be making jokes.
