I think the push is probably correct but am not 100 percent sure.
Little background. 600 people 10+1 on ft. Had 65k with 14 left but was actually 3rd in chips. blinds were 1500/3000 with a 250(?) ante. Lost about 2/3rd's of my chip chips in one rotation. I ended up losing 2 hands (I will explain these because I think they are important to the decisions I made in the hand). 1) (65k) sb with 10-10. 1 limper. I raise to 11k. LP limper has 16k more and pushes. I call. he has ak and turns a king. 2) MP (around 35k) AJs. I raise to 10k. LP reraised to 20k. BB goes all in for 100k. I fold. ------------ So few hands later, I am on the button with A9d. I have about 25k in chips. 1 limper. I limp. Some might think this is a mistake, and it might have been, but my justification was several fold: 1. in the bb was the chip leader with 140k and he had called some people down with some marginal hands. 2. I had burned some chips and was afraid a raise would smell of tilt, even though it wasn't, and I would get called by both limper and bb. So... A9d. 1 limper. I limp. flop comes 9hJd2d... bb bets 9k. limper folds. I move all in. bb has j10o... blank... blank... out. I was thinking this is an easy push but just wanted reassurance. |
