Default KK flops monotone board flush draw with an Ace

$50NL 6max. Villain is new to me but sees over 45% of all flops and is not a good player.
I just moved down from $100NL because of a huge downswing and it feels nice playing with a slightly less important amount of money, giving me the opportunity to be aggressive.

Should I be making plays like these against a shortstack like this, or is that just TOO aggressive?

Hero ($48.75)
CO ($56.85)
Button ($50)
SB ($16.95)
BB ($21.95)
UTG ($22.75)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.75</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, BB calls $1.25.

Flop: ($3.75) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $3.75</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $15</font>. I bet pot-sized but, in hindsight, should I have pushed since he only had a little left on the turn anyway?
