Posted a few days ago on a marginal value bet. I think not value betting marginal hands is easily the biggest leak in my game. Played this hand earlier and obvisouly had a hand in the range I put down, but afterwards got me thinking about how I would play it with the other hands in this range as well. Have not been at the table that long but villain has not done anything amazingly stupid or creative in thatt time, in other words seems like an average, doesn't think alot but not totally stupid 100NL player.
.50/1 NL, Villain has $105 I cover. Villain min raises in MP, I raise it to $8 in CO. Only Villain calls. Flop 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] He checks I bet $14, he calls. Turn 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] He checks I bet $30, he calls. River A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] He checks I ???? What would your river play be if you had a) KK b) QQ c) JJ d) TT? Or would you just check behind with all of them? Ta for thoughts |
