Default Shorty *calls* 1/2 his stack pre vs. my QQ

Two questions, please answer the first before reading the second.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $51.45
CO: $49.75
Button: $19.25
Hero: $66.95
BB: $11.65

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises to $1.5</font>, 2 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $5</font>, BB calls, UTG folds.

<font color="blue">What do you think his range is for calling almost half of his stack, rather than raising all-in? He buys in short, and see like a normal (bad) short stack player</font>
