I saw Buddy Guy last night. Wow. It had been like 9 years and I forgot what he was like. His band is superb, his singing expresses the full range of emotions and volumes that are worth living. He is a totally cool human being from what I can tell. But most importantly, when he takes a song into the many instrumental phases, his guitar playing simply takes the whole crowd to another planet. %#%ing unreal.

Garcia could do that. Gilmore too. Jorma for sure. Miles and Coltrane. And Monk.
