Flop: ($395) 9, 7, Q (3 players) BB bets $230, Hero raises to $902, CO calls $55.25 (All-In), BB calls $672. Turn: ($2254.25) 6 (3 players, 1 all-in) River: ($2254.25) J (3 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: $2254.25 This hand occured within my first orbit at the table. I reckognize the villain as a winning mid/high stakes player who was 8-tabling 5/10 at the time. We have no previous history together so I doubt he knows anything about my game. I thought my play in this hand was standard, but a friend who's opinion I respect thought I wasn't getting sufficent implied odds to call preflop and disagreed with the flop push. My questions are is this preflop call standard and how would you play it after the flop? |
