There is an 8 frame clip of a Joe Mauer swing on ESPN right now. As somebody who took a lot of hitting leasons in high school and early college it's amazing how perfect each part of Mauer's swing is.

From starting his swing with a slight weight shift forward and movement of his back knee before his hands, to the direct line his hands take to the ball, to the balance (you could draw a straight line from head, through his knee to the ground) in his follow through.
