Commercial Undertones

Bad subject I know just didnt know how to phrase it. I am looking for sort of quasi-sumblimal messages in commericials.

The one I noticed recently is in the WaMu free checking accoutn commercials. All the big corp. bankers are old white men while the spokeperson for WaMu is a young black male. I always thought this was so that you could visualize how WaMu is different. Anyone else see anythign in commercials like this?
