Default Q-Q pre and post flop quandry

As this is my first strategy post, please bare with me.

B&M $100-$200 NL $2-$5 blinds. Hero only sat for one orbit and had no reads.
Hero's Stack - $220
Villain's Stack - $270ish

UG Hero is dealt Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Hero Raises to $25.
Folds around to villain in the BB.
Villain raises to $75. Call - Push - Fold?
Hero Calls.
Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB pushes.
Call? Fold?

Hero folded.

I feel like pushing preflop would have been the optimum play. Also, I felt BB was making a move, but hadn't ever played with him b/f and didn't trust my insticts. As the hand unfolded, I feel like it was played very weak.

Thoughts?
