Pocket Aces on a jack high flop?

I posted a question a few minutes ago on a AJs hand. Im trying to improve my game. I seem to be zigging when I should be zagging and Id like some help.

About the 20th hand of a $10 buy in tournament Im dealt AA on the button. I have about 2100 chips. Middle position guy with around 1400 makes it 120 and I raised it to 300. Small blind calls and so does the original raiser. Small blind has around 3200 chips.
The flop comes J, 6, 4 rainbow. Its checked to me and I bet 500. Small blind calls and the other guy folds. Turn is an 8 and I went all in.

Can anyone please comment on the hand?

Was my betting incorrect? If so, what should I have done?
