Macbooks

I hate to start another laptop thread in here, but with the new ability to boot windows I've been considering pawning off my PC in favor or a MacBook sometime in the next month or two.

The MacBooks look great. They seem to be reasonably priced. Especially with the student discount and this back to school deal. But of course I've been hearing some bad things.

Such as:
Staining
and
Overheating

Anybody here have one of these yet or heard any first-hand complaints or praise? It seems like these are pretty big issues.
