Interesting hand from 5k live event.
This is from the 5k tourney held in Tulsa over the weekend.
107 players entered, we're down to about 50, 9 spots pay, etc. Blinds are 300/600 with a 75 ante, we are 8 handed and I have 33,000. UTG+1 I raise to 1800 with 99, and the player 2 seats to my left who has been on the table less than 1 orbit reraises to 3600. Folds to me and I call. The flop comes Ts 4s 3h and I check and he bets 3k into an 8500ish pot. He has between 12k and 13k left after his bet. I looked at him and he looked very calm and at ease with his hand. He was an obvious amatuer local player that was probably playing the biggest tourney of his life. What is your move on this flop as well as your plan for later? edit: oh, also, stacks on the table are I have 33k, nam le has about 30k, and noone else has more than 25. |
