The Real Question: Mardi Gras?

I, like many of you, realize that New Orleans' sole utility to this country begins and ends at Mardi Gras. Now I personally have never been, but I was considering going this next time and I really hope they hurry this crap up in time for my arrival. Lord knows I'm not headed down there to get eaten by an alligator or robbed by some dude with gold teeth. Even if I don't go however, I still would like to see Mardi Gras happen, because a lot of really cool porn comes from there. I mean, if Mardi Gras is NOT going to happen this year, I am just about ready to consider these recent events a serious tragedy.

So do what I did, call the Red Cross and voice your support for the coming Mardi Gras. I am still hopeful, but if I do end up going, and there is still debris and [censored] laying around, I am not tipping ANYONE. Be sure of that.
