Default Turned a Set, tough river decision--1/2 300 max at the Taj

So, I was playing at a 300max table at the Taj for round about 2 hours. I had showed down a number of strong hands, some were cracked and some weren't. The Villain in this hand is fond of making post-flop stabs at the pot and is fairly creative.

I limp in middle position with a pair of deuces, with about 300 behind. Another player limps and the villain on the button makes it 9 to go. One limper called, I called and the CO called, and we took a flop:

Kh Qd 7d [4 players $39 in pot] It's checked to me and we check it around.

Turn: 2c So I hit the jackpot. First player checks, I bet 20 the CO folds, the Villain calls and the first player folds.

River: 8c I bet 40, the Villain makes it 100 straight. Raise, call, or fold?

Comments on all streets welcome. Thx.
