Default Re: WSOP 2005-- a dealers perspective

If they're already taking a tip out of the entry fee, then there's little need to tip on top of that. Kinda like the local pizza joint that had free delivery, but added on a "delivery charge" because their drivers weren't getting tipped.

Kinda like the government double-taxing items.

As far as Harrah's taking 10% of the prize pool, so? Are they not entitled for covering their costs to promote, plan, organize and run an event of 6,000 poker players? The logistics alone are ridiculous. Can they not be entitled to a profit?

Be happy you aren't up here in the NorthEast, dealing with those jerks at Foxwoods who take 25% out of their weekly tourneys, ugh. We need some more poker rooms to increase competition.
