Default Re: MLB arb hanging around

[ QUOTE ]
I knew this was too good to be true. First day I ever looked for Arbs and there were a [censored] of them and they were pretty big. I was planning on starting out at Pinnacle and BOS, should I pick another site that doesn't deal dual-lines? Recommendations?

there is technically no such thing as a perfect "square" sportsbook to arb against. if they offer too much of a combination of easy bonuses, low juice, slow lines and high limits, they would not be able to survive financially. so there's give and take with all of these attributes, and different people prefer different things. then there stuff like customer service, cashout speed and fees, max withdrawal amounts, site interface and layout, wide selection of sports and other events, early and overnight lines...you see how much goes into this.

having dual lines is not a kiss of death. just means that like you experienced, betting seems exciting when you sign up, and then they change up on you suddenly. Bodog Sports has been known for this practice for a long time, for example. however, Bodog also has a rare policy of giving reload bonuses to net positive accounts even after they withdraw profits, so many scalpers will keep going back there with a thousand or two just so they always have some bonus pending (kinda like the UB of bookies I guess).

the first place to start would be a pseudo-affiliate watchdog site like sportsbookreview.com or sportsbookpal.com. anything well reviewed at those places should be worth trying out.
