Situation with my Grandmother

I went to a family reunion/mother's day party. It was my grandmother's party. It was a good time and she got a lot of nice gifts, just one problem, my heroin addicted uncle. My uncle is a career criminal. He has been in and out of prison in Mexico and the U.S. Currently he lives with my grandmother and sells all of her stuff. He has a heroin addiction and no money so he just sells anything my grandmother has.

My grandmother used to have a TV, radio, air conditioning. Its all gone. Last year my other uncle kicked him out of my grandmother's house because he sold the covers from her bed. The family just lost their temper when he went that low. Something about that still annoys me to this day. The problem is that my grandmother is a very religious person. She cant stop feeling sorry for him. I forgot to mention this, but apparently he even hit my grandmother once. They said she had a black eye and she said she 'fell', but you dont get a black eye from that. She is 80 years old. Its an annoying situation. Is there a non violent way out of this? The family just sort of gave up because they cant figure out what to do. They just complain 24/7 about him.

By the way, this guy has had a life of doing nothing but horrible things. My mother and her older brother had different fathers than him. She tells me the father of this guy used to tell him, "go throw water at them". He even caused them to lose their house. The guy was 14 and driving and got in an accident in Mexico. He was taken to court and forced to pay. He had no money so the original house where my grandmother lived was lost.

Is there a way to deal with this? Something that doesnt harm him would be best because my grandmother still feels sorry for him. I have been thinking a lot about this. He is supposedly wanted for something in the U.S. His father was a citizen so he speaks english and is a citizen of this country. The problem is that cops wont care if he is wanted for something minor. I dont know why he is wanted or if its even true, just a rumor, but he wont go to the U.S. anymore.


So any ideas?

One other question that has been on my mind lately. He is the first person I have ever encountered that has made me wonder, maybe some people should die? He has really made me question my morals. I used to think everyone deserved to live and that there was some good in everyone, but now I am not so sure.

I am sure you guys are wondering why he came back after they kicked him out. My grandma invited him back, she felt sorry for him. My uncle says she gets all teary eye when they mention beating his ass, which is mentioned a lot it turns out.
