I luckboxed my way to headsup in the 25k Euro GTD on the B2B Network a few days ago.
I haven't played many MTTs in the past few months, so my game is rusty if it exists at all. 1st pays 5400Euro, 2nd pays 3600Euro. Me: 620k Villain: 750k Villain is a pretty good player he has been very aggressive shorthanded at the final table, but he frequently folded to all-ins and resteals. The B2B site is full of scandies, and from what I can make of the railbird chat Villain is widely respected. My image would be TAG, although once I was caught with my hand in cookie jar. 5 handed, UTG minraises, I push with As4s and UTG calls with 99, I hit my Ace to knock him out. Other than this I've always shown the goods. Headsup has only been going for maybe 10 hands, mostly blind swopping. Blinds 8k/15k, I raise to 35k from the button with Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain min-raises to 70k, I call. Flop (140k): K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain checks I bet 100k, Villain calls. Turn (340k): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain bets 80k, I raise to 200k with 250k behind. Villain pushes. I felt like tossing a coin to decide if I should call or fold. |
