A Push to Legalize Online Gambling

Day to Day, November 15, 2007 · Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is sponsoring a bill that would legalize Internet gambling, creating a government regulated online industry. Although supporters say it could generate up to $3 billion in tax revenues a year, the legislation faces tough opposition from a coalition of family and evangelical groups and professional sports leagues.
