Re: flopped tp+fd facing turn check minraise
[ QUOTE ]
Ok..everyone likes to be aggressive so lets turn this situation around. If you have AA (almost exactly a coinflip) against Hero in this hand and you know that your opponent has K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. What is YOUR best flop result?...TO GET ALL THE MONIES IN THE MIDDLE. Now if its the best result for AA can it be the best result for K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] too?...NO [/ QUOTE ] There are many situations where your best ev play is also the best for villain too. It's like in min-bet poker when you should raise w/ tp on turn but villian calls anyways with a flush draw: +ev for everyone. You are 50% against black aces on the flop but only have 32% equity on that turn. If you hit he may fold his pair. So would you rather blank most rivers and fold to a river bet? |
