In my case we officially had to use my wife's income to get the loan but the reason was I did not have two years of earning history in this job. Our mortgage agent said that a year from now I would be able to get a house on my own (hypothetically obv). And I think the way we did it may have just been easier/gotten us a better rate than if I were buying solo. |
