So I just got my new Evoluent upright mouse, which is incredible by the way, but its the first non-trackball mouse I've used in ages, so I don't have a mousepad. Does anyone use one of the $40 gaming pads? I want the smoothest and most accurate thing possible. After some research, there are many options, so does anyone know if one of these pads is better than the others? Thanks.
Edit: My mouse is an optical by the way. |

I have a Ratpadz and I don't like it, it's textured and blah.
Get a Func. --Mousepads with images or colors etc. will suck with an optical; suck bad. |

I hear if you use the party mousepad they raise your luck index by 3 points...worth a try maybe. |

I've had my funcpad for like 4 years and its still smooth like the day I bought it. I would highly recommend it.

If you're using the evoluent mouse, don't get a mousepad with the gel wrist-rest. Because it's too high (if you see what I mean) and you can't keep your wrist straight. Those mousepads are great with normal mice tho.
