Re: 1/2: 88 oop
15 seems too small though, make it 18

Re: 1/2: 88 oop
Flop bet should be larger. 15 into 24 looks weak and could invite trouble.
As played a would check/fold the turn. Looks like he just value betting his K rag. |

Re: 1/2: 88 oop
...why is it necessary to bet larger on the flop? you want more value?

this seems okay. [/ QUOTE ]why are you calling the turn (or why aren't you betting it) vs a 54/16/1? |

Re: 1/2: 88 oop
because they will float with any pair and usually bet it. i think there is more value in letting him bet than us betting ourselves (though betting the turn for value is tempting).

Re: 1/2: 88 oop
I just call preflop because you get in such awful spots against an uberstation. I probably check flop and c/c 2 streets here if he's been semi-aggro (which it looks like he has).

...why is it necessary to bet larger on the flop? you want more value? [/ QUOTE ] Because betting too small invites trouble. Where he would normally fold when he missed he correctly spots the bet as being weak and then floats us and puts us in tough spots like this one. |
