FLOP!
BB is old, but more taggish than nitty. He's prob a winning player. He's played with me a good amount and thinks I am too aggressive.
One limper. I raise 99. 2 callers. BB 3 bets. all call. Flop TJ5 rainbow. BB leads. UTG folds. I have 2 left to act behind me getting slightly better than 16:1 and I...? A. Call once, because the players behind me are passive and probably won't raise and the BB might have AK in which case I have the best hand. B. Fold because there are players left to act behind me and my 2 outer will make a straight for someone else pretty often, and old guys don't really lead with AK here. C. Raise because I might get it HU and I have backdoor straight possibilities to go with my 2 outer and the pot is big. |

Re: FLOP!
for everyone who says ez fold, change something in the hand that makes our decision different.
for example, let's say that there is only one player left to act behind me. |

Re: FLOP!
Fold. You are way behind. Older guy in the BB doesn't three bet without JJ or better. Moreover, he would never lead out with AK against this many players with flop.

Re: FLOP!
easy fold. an example where we don't fold: the flop doesn't come with 2 connected overs and there aren't people behind us to act. you probably already know this though right?

Re: FLOP!
Yeah, the pot is big, but we have two to act behind us and that flop hit their range pretty hard, so I'm not liking you continuing, for fear it gets popped behind you (and he could 3-bet, making you throw up in your mouth a little bit.)
Is he 3-betting range OOP almost always AA-QQ, or would he 3-bet JJ and TT too? As he opens up his 3-betting range, I want you to fold even more, since you'd be more reliant on your BD straight draws against his range. But yeah, regardless, I like folding here regardless, but just wanted to make a point/as a question about his 3-betting range and our flop equity. |
