Turned TPNK
Villain is 55/7/1.5 over 100 hands. I think the 7 PFR part is what makes the turn decision tough as I can't see too much I'm ahead of. Check and call a river bet which will hopefully be a bluff?

fold preflop seriously
villian seems maniacish, so if he c/r the turn there is a big possibility that he is bluffing so I dont mind firing this turn |

His play screams JJ or QQ. I'd bet, and fold if he c/r the turn or river. |

He bets the flop, and then checks the turn when an ace appears. If he check/raises then this is a fancyplayed monster a lot and we have to fold imo. I'd b/f turn and b/f river (maybe b/c river). |

Re: Turned TPNK
I would check turn be it for value or defense.
May get a suspicious call from QQ you wouldn't get otherwise. May draw a chop with a scared ace. Won't get bluffed off best hand tho I think that's an unlikely line. Question is calling a river lead. He would have no reason to bet QQ, really. |

Re: Turned TPNK
Let's see:
1. You hit your 3-out draw on the turn. 2. Villain checks turn in apparent fear of the ace. 3. Despite your amazing good fortune you are nevertheless afraid to bet because "I can't see too much I'm ahead of". Worst ... flop call ... ever. Bet-fold the turn and river to get paid off by all the pocket pairs. A checkraise by this type of player is usually a monster. Second choice is a nice ace with only a few outs to the chop. |

Re: Turned TPNK
So you called a flop bet to try and spike an ace and when the ace falls you second guess the flop call.
Anyway, as played its time to value bet. |
